Community Engagement and Involvement

We have been conducting CEI activities to work together with the community as our future activities shall build on this. We have identified and mapped key actors and groups that need to be involved.

Since Feb 2021 we have been constant virtual communication with the communities and in Sept 2021 we conducted 9 meetings with different stakeholders. We tried to be very inclusive and so we decided to have meetings with the local leaders and NGOs, school teachers and school nurses, children, parents and patients, across Namobuddha and Kathmandu, and members of the community from lower caste in Namobuddha, Nepal.

  • Community and people living with NCDs
  • Parents, teachers and children at schools
  • Service providers
  • Ministry senior officer and local governments

Face to face activities were between 10 to 16 September. I.T. communication were several times between Feb until now
