OBJECTIVES OF PROGRAM

• Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH & RC) is one of the largest oncology specialty non-profit hospital in Pakistan.
• It has been training health professionals both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and equipped them with first-hand exposure of healthcare dynamics.
• The aim of Clinical Research Elective ship program is to enable the learners explore the area of Clinical Research and to enrich their personal and academic development by learning the ethical conduct of research in line with the applicable regulatory frameworks.

The Summer Electiveship program was held for two weeks at Clinical Research Office(CRO) SKMCH & RC Lahore.

The program was enriched with capacity building sessions, self-paced learning via e-learning courses at TGHN (The Global Health Network) and hands on training on screening (SKMCH&RC Electronic medical records-HIS), consenting , patient recruitment , enrollment and clinical research conduct & Essential Documentation
